FOLLOWING: COCO ROCHA

Coco Rocha is one of today's top models in the fashion industry. Gorgeous, intelligent, funny and not afraid to poke fun at herself, Coco Rocha is one of my new favourites to follow. Did I mention that she's also CANADIAN!

Though she has only been a model since she was 15 (she is now 21), Coco has enjoyed a stealthy modelling career like few others. She has been on countless elite magazines (like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and W), walked some of the most prestigious runways (Louis Vuitton, John Paul Gaultier, Dolce and Gabana, Chanel and Stella McCartney to name a few), and has her own line of clothing (Rococo). She has become so highly acclaimed that even changing her hair colour makes fashion headlines. And like history's most well-known supermodels, she is known simply by her first name: Coco.

Coco uses her fame as a platform to address health and weight issues for models. She is an avid spokesperson for model treatment, often referring to her own experiences in the industry. Most recently, Coco has had to address and defend her own weight gains.

Undoubtedly, young women and models should take their cue from Coco Rocha. Despite her success, Coco continues to push the envelope. She is refreshing to watch and I can't wait to see what she does next!
